My team have been researching this crime site,Endeavour river

We had to get through a number of things to determined if this was the crime site.

ENDEAVOUR RIVER

Some things we needed to check:

Does Endeavour river contain any of the victims or villains

Does the villain threaten the victim.

Is there mining

Any tree plantations

Is the Pandanus tree native

Things I confirmed about Endeavour river

The pandanus tree(P.tectorious) is found in Endeavour river and it is native flora in Cooktown.

The only link to mines that was found goes back in the olden days so it was obvious it was nothing to do with the actual investigation.

There are not any real tea tree plantations but there are many tea plants that grow natively in Cooktown.

The Victims found in Endeavour river:

The Echidna

The Green Turtle

The Northern Quoll

The Green Tree Frog

The Villains found in Endeavour river:

Lantana

The Laughing Kookaburra

Endeavour river got it's name when Captain James cook disembarked onto this portion of Australia. His ship,The Endeavour, was the name used to signature this port.

When Captain cook first set foot onto this land,he discovered many new and exotic plants and animals. Now,Cooktown is renowned for its untouched nature and beautiful, sublime, majestic wildlife.

A special feature of Cooktown

The Hope Islands National Park

The Hope Islands are two islands that are home to a kaleidoscope of animals and plants. With wonderful sites, the Hope Islands have been claimed  a National Park where no dangers are accepted and all animals and plants are protected in the sanctuary. This Park is home to a variety of animals and plants that can't be seen anywhere else in the world. For example,The  pied imperial pigeon. The aboriginals find that area very important and sacred because they get their supplies from the island. The Kuku Yalanji tribe continue to fish, hunt and eat from these waters to survive.
